Lycoming

502ss 01-01-2013 09:17 AM

No, been around for decades. It's actually a popular turbine For use in rotor aircrafts (heli's)

Here is the wiki page

waybomb 01-01-2013 09:21 AM

I was being sarcastic. How can you have twin Lycomings and not know the how the brand is spelled?

502ss 01-01-2013 09:44 AM

With a boat like that and the money that goes with it I guess you don't have to really know what you have!

Fenderjack 01-01-2013 09:47 AM

Wow!!!!! Guy has plenty of money didn't say he won a spelling bee before he bought it LOL. JOHN SR

mike tkach 01-01-2013 10:21 AM

there are some people around here that base a persons intelligence and life experiences on their spelling and grammar.:party-smiley-004:

Fenderjack 01-01-2013 12:15 PM

Especially if your going to attempt to sell a $600k item, wouldn't you take the extra 30 seconds and make sure the add reads like its a $600k item! :angry-smiley-038:

pqjack 01-01-2013 01:22 PM

and if you search for lycoming on ebay, his add wont show up...

Friend of mine had that boat built. Hot Boat mag did a feature on it a few years back. I never got a ride but was aboard it- impressive.

Good catch! I will blame that one on the iPad (or my own stupidity) :evilb: but like you said it's OSO! You see poor spelling and grammar all over this site but that's one thing. It's a totally different situation when your trying to sell a $600k item and the spelling of the engine type might be important if you expect people to be able to find it when using a search engine.

It's kind of like submitting a resume for employment and having spelling and grammatical errors all over it, not sure that will help you get the job!

Well I guess it depends on the job your applying for! :evilb::lolhit:
