iPAD GPS
Just a got new iPAD Mini (which I didn't want, but it was free....).
Anyway, want to make use of it on Lake Erie and Florida Bay. Have used SeaClear2 on my laptop for navigation, but want to the iPAD for this purpose now (since it is smaller). SOOO......looks like I'll need a BadElf GPS receiver, 30pin adapter (since it's a minipad), and some sort of stand to mount it to my dash in front of the steering wheel up under the windscreen. WHAT APP???? Thanks for suggestions. |

Then download the Navionics software for $15 US and Canada. This works good if you have a smooth surface. http://www.amazon.com/Fonus-Universa...+suction+mount Then just hard wire an adapter to a hot wire behind the dash. |

Navionics. I have it on my iPhone/ ipad as a back up to the Garmins. Works great and is dead accurate.

Dual makes a better GPS. I use it with my aviation maps on my iPad.
