Price range?

I know a place that is off Duval but you would never know it. People and rooms were great. Not on the water but not far off. Near fat tuesdays.

Over the years we have stayed a number of times at the pier house and been very satisfied however during our stay in february 2011 we booked a corner suite for 14 days with the powerboat racing right in the middle of our stay however on our arrival we were informed that the corner suite was no longer available as they had let it out to a corporate events company so we had a middle suite which obviously did not command the same view, to add insult to injury for 4 nights during the powerboat festival they virtually doubled the price of our suite, despite having numerous meetings with the management they offered no financial recompense needless to say this left us feeling very badly treated and we would definitely not recommend or stay at the pier house ever again. This year we tried something a little different we booked a conch cottage in Olivia street which was fantastic very clean and tidy with good facilities no sea view but nothing is far from the sea in key west and only 5 mins walk from duval and they didn't load the prices during powerboat week.

Hyatt Regency, was very happy.

My friend just recently stayed at the Marriot and said it was one of the nicest hotels he has every stayed at, from the pics it looked to be 6 stars.

I can't recommend you a hotel in Key West since it's been years since I've been there but I can recommend that you check the web link below prior to booking a hotel anywhere.

casa de marina is with out a doubt the nicest place in key west. its like 2 blocks off dueval on the east side of town, the other side from mallary square but if your not going down to watch the races its the place to be. Its one of the waldorf astoria properties i believe..

Marriott Beach Side is were we've been staying for the last 5 to 6 years. Nice and quiet. We get a 3 bedroom, 3 bath bay view room with full kitchen, dining room, living room, washer and dryer all for about 475 to 575 a night. They're basically 3 bedroom condos, room service, pool, spa, bar's restaurant all onsite. Nicer and cheaper than anything you'll find around Duval street. And I've been jacked around as some of the others have mentioned, by the same hotels. I'll never stay at any of them again. And if you bring your boat down try the city marina, for the Top Guns we pay about 86 bucks a night and just a little more for the Rough Rider.

Ocean Key - it's at 0 Duvl Street. Great place and recently underwent some extensive renovations. We booked a suite there back in Sept and had a great time.
