Do a seach on posts about Aero Tek. Its been discussed several times. I personaly was one of the last people to deal with the now defunct company. They took alot of moaney and I never got a finished boat. At one time they built a decent boat but nothing like the current batch of boat brands available today. They later year model Aero Teks (93-95) I would be very very leary of. The owner was taking many shortcuts just to push a boat out the door. He was also taking peoples deposits so he could finish boats in production. It all finally caught up with him in Oct of '95 when his bank came in with the sherrifs and siezed all the property.
Anyways, I guess what I'm saying is just make sure you check it out well. Have a profesional survey done. I always thought they were pretty nice looking boats. So if its solid and checks out ok...why not take a chance. Personally I think you could pick that boat up for less than the 28 K.
Good luck on what ever you decide.

I went for a ride on that 27 that your looking at and I was not impressed it felt and looked cheap and did'nt handle well. We offered the guy $20,000 and he did not take it.
