A guy in a local marina tried one....it worked pretty good until a storm came through and the water got rough

So what would happen in that case? The boat itself is floating so I assume it banged around the dock/pilings?

in this case the frame came apart.....the boat owner that installed it is a dufus so perhaps it was an installation error
