Default 78mph 26Baja out of the gate

Still lots of testing needs to be done but that speed is not bad for the first day

Sounds good, hopefully you will get more after testing and damm you got a lot of horses under that hood. Best friend has the same boat, with 550hp(dynoed) and he even did hull work(sanded the end of the hull where baja put a little small hook in each side of the hull) and he only got 76mph.

Whoops, his is a 25, now considered a 27 because of the swim platform.

Mark you could be right a 25. I keep calling it a 26 footer but I think it is the 25.

Never dynoes but it is a 454 Mag to start its life and had some head work, roller cam, and procharger put on. It is running 5 pounds in the intake for boost. The estimate was around 650 or so.

What kind of speeds do you think your hull is good for? You should be getting close.

Not my boat it is a friends. I would think he is going to be going a solid 80 by the time he gets it all tuned in.

That should be a interesting ride. Is he running a dual ram setup, swinging a 28P? Just wondering as I am running 72mph/gps 502/415 and from what I'm told a Whipple would put me in the scary zone.
