Opinions Please

Hi OSO, I am looking for opinions on a few boats and thought you all could help.
We have previously owned a 22'Donzi, 27'Fountain now a 30' Formula and we are looking to upgrade again. I obviously don't have a preference one mfr to another. Currently looking to stay under 80K but need 35' + feet but preferrably no larger than 40'. I have found a few Sunsations, Sonics, Formulas and Profiles. We are staying away from another fountain purely based on overnighting.

Any insight or boats that you may have come across would be helpful as my eyes are crossing from staring at a computer screen looking.

Thanks in Advance.

How about an older but updated Cig, like a Cafe Racer?

justaddH2o 01-12-2013 10:57 AM

have looked at some, but haven't found any clean ones that haven't been salt-water boats.

But I am guessing it's seen some sort of salt in it's life.

We will check it out, its out of price range a bit.

There is another 35 cig in the classifieds for 57000.00 that looks real clean, carb 500s, bravos. Randy

Take a look at the 382 Formulas that Eddie has at Lake Ozark Marine.

35 Baja Outlaw measures 38. Has a nice cabin for overnighting. HUGE cockpit. Nice boats

Black Thunder but would be over 40ft

37 Active Thunder (harder to find under 80k)

37 Outerlimits (harder to find under 80k)

we will need to take a trip down there to see what he has. We have looked at few online, but that never does anything justice.

Thank you for those suggestions, I am not a fan of the Bajas, I have had terrible experiences with Black Thunders, stuck on LOTO with a drive down in not one but two Black Thunders on the same day.

We like the Active Thunders but can't find any in our range, and I would love an Outerlimits, but again, I have not found any that were in the price range.

This purchase doesn't have to be immediate, but both of us are getting a little antsy.
