Is there any interest in organizing a medical/dental study club that meets at various poker run and boating events? It might be a great way to get CE and go to your favorite event. The participants could all take a topic related to their field and do a lecture.

That's an excellent idea. 3 days long, and adjourn at noon to go boating. Wish there were more lawyers on the board and I could get a CLE class going. The only thing better than a boat trip is a tax deductible boat trip.


Think about it - if you have it at a place only accessible by boat, I think even fuel would be deductible!!!

Well you know we certainly could use your expert advice. I bet we could allow a "token" attorney. :lolhit:

Just deducting the lodging meals and "transportation" would be huge!
