Ok guys, who do you use for boat insurance? Just got denied of claim #2 of this past year! Boating is expensive enough without having to pay for insurance and then paying for everything they're supposed to cover.:angry-smiley-055::angry-smiley-055::angry-smiley-055::angry-smiley-055:

Thanks I will check it out. Have you ever had to make a claim? If so were they fair?

POWERPLAY J 01-14-2013 05:24 PM

No. If I ever make a claim it would have to be something catastrophic.

+1 she helped me out and got me covered when no one else would even look a me. They would get all my boat info and then say um ya we cant cover your boat. I tried every one under the sun. I cant thank her enough :drink:

Stacy is great.

If you're making petty claims than I think you are doing yourself more harm than good. I'm like POWERPLAY - I only make a claim if it is catastrophic - helps me insure things cheaply.

I hear ya on that. I have not had to in 10 years and just like that i had one hell of a bad season with no help from insurance. I know they are pretty tough now a days but I had two legit claims.

My brother that doesn't own a performance boat had two legit claims in the past 5 years with Progressive. They beat him around so bad he paid to have it fixed both times and never recieved a dime. And it went on his history so they cancelled his policy. I have an older boat and they are tougher to insure. I am very happy with my coverage and premium through Stacy but If it was a motor or a couple drives I would suck it up and pay out of pocket rather than risk being cancelled and have to shop around. I deal with auto insurance daily and am surprised how they deal with their watercraft customers.

Yep had to come out of pocket also. Oh well, not gonna cry about it, just very frustrating with the way they handled it. I will be contacting Stacy and hopefully it works out. Thanks for the info guys, hope we have a good 2013 season. All we need is water

Sy at Total Dollar is fantastic to deal with!

My wife is Stacy @ Wozencraft and she insures a few pretty high profile boats, as well as some ridiculous HP smaller boats. She won't sell you a policy that isn't legit, and is a straight up no BS insurance agent. There is no limitations to speed / value / age / etc.. 760-651-2628.

200 mph / no problem.

She also has a newer program with a company that will insure outdrives from mechanical failure. (Bravo Drives etc..) I don't know much about it, but she mentioned it to me that she put it on our boat and we would have no more outdrive worries.. ;) Ask her about it when you call.

Your insurance

I recommend WOZENCRAFT,as the boat does not meet our program guidelines and I have sent many of this category of boat to them as they have the staff, carriers, and expertise to properly place your coverage.
