Uncle Toys

Got woken early this morning and after a few posts, walked out front to the waters edge. It’s low 80’s, blue sky, visibility maybe 50 miles and the entire lake is glass. So calm, your compelled to walk slowly. Waded in up to my knees in 82-degree water with my morning cup. Calm! Just like a kid, I had to skip a few stones. Watched a water skier pass right down the middle of the lake – it appeared they passed in slow motion. Then a mother duck and her four babies came along side. The mother was stand-offish, but the babies were pretty interested in me as long as I didn’t move.

Ahhh, sabbatical.
