whoa! Fuel injectors, pump, filter, and draining tank and lines cost over $4,100? How much would a new engine have cost?

When I talked to Semper Fi on the phone they were telling him a new motor was around 11k, not including labor to put it in.:eek:

I know it is a 6,000 buck option almost so I would guess that is about right!!!!!!

Sorry to hear of your bad luck bro, I had a similar situation with my 99 Cummins. We drained the fuel, replaced the filter and ran some fuel cleaner treatment through it for about $100 bucks. Put another 50K miles on it with no problems before I sold it. Good luck!

I made it back to Cali ok. the truck seems to be running well with no apparent problems. Now all I have to do is get reimbursed some dough. I have talked to a lawyer that handled another case for me and she is going to send the Insurance company a letter of my intentions if they don't fully reimburse me. Thanks for all the input guys. Anyone want to buy the truck????? :D
