Thanks! Paint is looking really nice and coming along well. Should have completed pictures up tomorrow. Next step will be to tackle the dash update / wiring.

Just some clarification, this is the cracked block that we will not be using. This block used for engine mount mock up and placement. It's alot easier to work around a bare block vs complete engine while configuring new mounts and rigging. The crack on this block was from improper winterizing or an exterme overheat at some point in its life. This shows how important monitoring a temp gauge can be.

All shined up! Thank you to Mitcher T and crew for an outstanding paint job! Next week we will make some interior updates - dash, gauges, shifter. Starting to look like a boat again!

Any 1st hand experience w/one besides Too Stoked?? I always loved the looks of them but heard nothing but bad about handling. W/the shallow vee I wrote it off to people trying to force it to run in big water.
Looks like a big Allison bottom.

There great running boats, but they are designed for calm water.

Mitch actually has a technique that works well, everything is taped close but not right up to where it contacts (very slightly overmasked). I believe the theory is that paint is less likely to shift and flake if its not right up against rigging, done properly it looks good. If you have ever seen his stuff, take note that quality does not suffer. As a matter of fact some of the things he tapes off and sprays around just amaze me with the complexity and detail. He's got it down to a system thats for sure.

Great lookin lil fountain right there
