Haven't seen a check in thread in a long time. Doesn't even come up using search anymore or I would have revived the old one. So who's still around?

I didn't know the numbers went up as high as 1000, although I never did see a figure on how many there were. I seem to remember the numbers got screwed up once when the board crashed or something ?

There were 300 Charter Members.
The number was actually your sign up number and didn't correspond to the charter status. I was the 55th person to register on OSO....after the first major software upgrade.

Not a charter member but been here a while, October 2000, what makes a person a charter member? Only 1, 500+ posts in over 12 years...I tend to keep my mouth shut unless I feel compelled to say something.

How would I not be a charter member since my membership join date predates most Charter members?, My join date was the same year and month as your join date? I number was in the low 100's from what I recall.

The join dates we show now i think are when Jeffrey changed the format over...

That's sort of what I recall also Wally. I believe your member number got changed also when you rejoined which pissed some people off at the time.

Yeah, Jeff needed to upgrade the server and gave the option to all members at the time, of donating up $20 for the new server and in return, we got our OSO Charter member sticker and lifetime free membership.... Can't find my sticker :(

I was a member of the old board too. Things were pretty wide open back then in regards to comments.
