What would YOUR theme boat be???
 

If you were to build a new boat (funds unlimited), and you HAVE to theme it. What would your theme be?

I'd have to say a Thor themed boat would be cool. The god of thunder only seems appropriate for a go fast. Or maybe something all black with gold leaf and the skull and crossbones on the bow "the privateer"

Theme would be p.o.w/m.i.a on a 27ft krytonite boat.

A while back a buddy was getting ready to buy a Rough Rider and we discussed how entertaining (and shocking/attention getting) it would be (due to the name of the model) to do an S&M theme. Name the boat something like "dominate" do subtle (very subtle) graphics like the Cigarette insignia on the sides having rope around it and squeezing slightly, do graphics on top of the throttles like "Gimmie more" and "safe word" at the bottom. Go through and re-name all the descriptions on the dash (like the Off Duty apache) like for trim "face up" and "face down", have hand cuff graphics stitched into the bolster seats behind the grab bars, etc.

I know it sounds a bit deviant but I think if done right it'd be pretty cool.

And no, I'm not some S&M freak. :whistle:

Unlimited budget? I would build a warbird theme boat. 50' custom v hull built heavy, or maybe a one off 47 apache hull powered by trip Rolls Royce Merlin XX's in full race trim and optimized for low altitude. Paint it in WWII service colors complete with nose art. Arneson or other direct surface drives. Hatch exit rear eject exhaust. Be a heavy beast but with 9000hp it should still be fast. Fun to think about but those mills built to spec would run at least a million a PIECE.
