I read it......didnt find it near as interesting or believable as blue thunder.....I gotta believe that blue thunder is much closer to the truth behind what happened......I thought that speed kills was a long and drawn out read that lost my interest several times...........just my opinion though.......:)

I TOO AGREE WITH SPITFIRE. THE BOOK COULD HAVE BEEN 1-2 CHAPTERS. I WOULD LIKE TO READ BLUE THUNDER.

Blue Thunder is a better read, but there is a lot of fiction in it. Speed Kills is mostly a police report collection.Only people like many of us interested in offshore history would enjoy Speed Kills, but the average person would enjoy Blue Thunder,it's like a novel. Most on the board would enjoy reading both,as well as King of Thunderboat Row and Crouse's history book Searace. All 4 should be in your library.
