Arneson and Skater come together to build one Bad Ass Fat Boy!
Debuting at the 2013 Miami International Boat Show will be an all new Skater 338’ Fat Boy painted and rigged at Douglas Marine, with an Aero-Marine Windshield and Arneson #7M Drive Units with a Zeiger Industries Mechanical Tie Bar. Power is supplied by a set of custom 565 cu/in blown engines by Eddie Young Power with BAM 1350 Cyborg transmissions.
The first of the all new Skater 338’ Fat Boy deigns which has seating for six sports a beautiful custom Douglas Marine Paint Scheme; it will be riding on a Douglas Marine trailer on its way to the Miami International Boat Show debuting on Thursday, February 14th, which is Valentine’s day. Just a coincidence as the new Skater Owner Louie Marchese is in love with his new boat.
Look for the boat this summer in the Chicago IL, area as well as the Desert Storm Poker Run and the every exciting LOTO Shootout which this beauty will be running in trying their best to win their class.
Going to the 2013’ Miami International Boat show? Please stop by Arneson’s booth #4060 to see the Arneson Surface Drives in person and also please stop by Skater’s booth #3180 where this new beauty will be displayed front and center for everyone to drool over.
Congrat’s Louie!!!
Peter Hledin’s comments on the boat are “this little beauty should have been named the “Missle” as it is hitting right on target with our customers’ needs for a smaller custom powered boat with great speed and safe handling qualities.” Hledin also stated that they are in the process of finishing hull #2 of this new design which will also be powered by a set of Arnesons and the customer is using a set of engines from Indmar Marine which are based off of the General Motors Cadillac LSA engine line which should make for a very light weight yet powerful package and the customer should see some very good speeds with very modest power.
