Built like a tank ! Runs real good for it's time . The only bad thing I found was how the fuel tanks were installed . Mine has 2 tank in the back ,between the engines . They are in a box that has NO drain . My tanks got some pin holes in them from water sitting under them and had to be replaced . Other then that , I love it ,I love it ,I love ! It will run fast with average power ,will seat about 8-10 people depending on there size , and still have plenty of room to walk around .Also has a full cabin or half cabin on some . Very high free board .There are a ton of guys on here with them .Do a search on ocean express or express cat I forget what it was under but it was one of the biggest topics I have ever seen ! Most had Arneson drives .1600 series , kind of an older version of the ASD8 . Can handle real big power with ease . The other thing to remember is It is about a 12' beam though . Trailering and launching is interesting ! Check that other post . Happy reading ! JOE

BIg thunder marine had one at there place for sale .It was an expensive one .(Newer) but if your near there you could at least see it and see what it has to offer . Some have full engine hatch and others have seperate ones .(one on each side ). Seperate ones are hard to work on motor !

did sombody say ocean express . . .where do i begin . . . been to the factory several times. they have a new 49 coming out soon that is going to be pretty cool. heres a pic of the one i painted back in march. i am getting ready to spray another 39 in about 2 weeks. i have worked on many boats and these are some the best built things i have ever seen. construction is top notch and very well built. the hulls seem to work best with arneson drives (Ross says so ) they arent the fastest things out there but will handle big water with ease. call the factory and ask for Adam or Ross they can tell all you need to know

Anyone know anything about the boat? There is nothing to the boat,, it has never been rigged.

Talking to a marine company today at estimates on costs for putting stern drives and 500 EFI in the boat.

I saw the boat last Feb and it has been sitting for a long time out in the elements. Lots of delamination at the bulkheads and will take a good glass man and $10k to put it together. Maybe more$. It is 11'-6" wide and no finish in cabin. Will take big motors and surface drives to do it right.
