AGREED. I play alot of the Big Tymers, Ja Rule 336:, DMX, Nelly, and most of all the jigga man JAY-Z. With a good system theres nothing like it.

I've downloaded some of the music as suggested, made a CD and will try it out on our boat ride to New Orleans in the morning.

Please refresh my memory. It wasn't Larry Hook, but it was the guy, I think Mike that raced with him. It was the year that Dale Earnheardt won the Daytona, and a bunch of us were sitting watching the race at the tiki bar at Islemarada during the Miami Boat Show. Mike told us this story about this guy who used to play "air" drums every time he came out on the boat. Six months later, he found out his weekend guest was the drummer for Alice Cooper - true story.

I know alot of people get into Jimmy Buffet...But, I can't stand the stuff!!!! It's like every song sounds the same!!!!
I thought I'd heard AC/DC songs over & over too much...But, Jimmy Buffet is just waaaaaay too much!!!!!

I get into alot of different music...Everything from Harry Conick Jr. to Primer55 to G.Love & Special Sauce to Nelly....But, someone pass me some tranquilizer's if Jimmy Buffet is playing!!!!!!!!!

Not to want to open a can of worms here, but downloading music for free from the file sharing sites steals money directly out of artists pockets.
Go to Best Buy and spend the $10 on a CD.

I make my own disk's and record in MP3 format. My 10 disk changer will carry approximately 1500 tracks in MP3. I installed a new Sony changer this spring that supports MP3, CDR, and CDRW data. The changer was a direct replacement and plugged in where my older unit was. I usually listen to tracks like Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson or Stevie Ray Vaughan when riding fast and Pat Metheney, The Rippingtons, or similar when the hook's down and the Bimini's up. I have not changed a disk this summer. I recorded plenty over the winter and have more than I can listen to already. MP3 gives me the ability to do all the above.

hey rockstrmkr if you can get CD's for $10 at Best Buy i'm going to send you a list. i'm with you on going out and buying them instead of downloading but down my way CD's are more like $20.
i usually put that 20 bones in my gas tank and listen to the radio

Rockstrmkr, I wouldn't mind paying for CD's if you got more than one decent song on it. Hard to justify $15+ for one good song.

It's gotta be Sublime. Nice Rock/ reggea beats and it is less than 20 years old so you wont embarass yourself with the younger folks.
