I hope whoever purchases that boat gets some sort of rewards for purchasing gas on their credit card, or owns a gas station. Beautiful boat!

CigaretteSam 02-14-2013 07:02 PM

Im sure the bank would let you take out a loan to purchase....LOL. Nice boat though! Love the paint.

ICDEDPPL 02-14-2013 08:35 PM

Back under the matress

Level III Chaos 02-14-2013 10:36 PM

LOL......$495k. Awesome!

Jupiter Sunsation 02-15-2013 09:31 AM

I thought it was a fake ad at first! The fact the boat is named Patriot and it is misspelled throughout the ad as patroit, the no props part and the 495k price.....

500k you could probably get 2 47's......BA/PF come to mind.

Interceptor 02-15-2013 10:52 AM

Here's a selling point. He lists other Apache owners including
"Many other dictators, rulers & famous individuals "

or how about the get a quote from GEICO placed in the ad !

low_psi 02-15-2013 02:45 PM

I remember seeing a quarter page ad in the back of Performace Boats or one of the now out of business publications where this boat was for sale. It was a while ago...

Yup, this boat has been for sale for quite awhile.

Nothin like adjusting 48 valves lash, 24 spark plugs, 3 fuel strainers, oil levels on 3 blowers oilpans, transmissions, drives......

Wow- alot to do.

It is a gorgeous boat.

I could be wrong, but, I think the boat was built by, or for, Elias Dellatorre, not sure if I spelled it right, he is boat dealer out of Florida who used to run a SERIOUS 10" tire turbo car, seen it in Orlando a few times at the "World Street Nationals"

No he built Spirit of Apache which was another 47 but pleasure version, and yes he own Plantation Boat Mart in the FL keys.

MegaByte*3 02-15-2013 07:58 PM

If you've ever ridden in one, or driven one in 4-6 footers, you'll agree that it's worth every penny.

Having seen this one up close, the detail and finish work is awesome. I envy the new owner, but not his fuel bill.

Yeah, but with no props! The pressure from the exhaust pushes it to 105, the drives just steer it. LOL!
Beautiful Apache nonetheless.

make a few runs on lake michigan in a tissue paper & elmers glue boat with a 525 and you will appreciate some weight under your azz.

dont think a old school built boat would have broke like that donzi did. you hit the side of my boat its like hitting concrete, ive hit a few that actually shocked me how much they moved.

Dropping 500K on a cigarette, Outerlimits or similar high end boat would probably get you a ride that would be able to hang with most, if not all, old school boats. However, some of the newer low end boats leave A LOT to be desired when it comes to quality and strength.

thirdchildhood 02-17-2013 02:22 PM

How fast is "Kemosabe"? What power does it have?

never rode in a 500k anything, i would love to see some video of one running in rough water like the lucky strike video on youtube. then maybe i would believe, but when i had my 226 baja in rough water it wouldnt keep up with my friends 235 four winns sundowner, totally embarassing. that light boat ran a real 70 with a 330merc. , but was aweful in the rough.

n20michael 02-17-2013 04:34 PM

Find someone on YouTube, or here, with a Cig Marauder or Outerlimits 47GTX and see if they have video of them running in the rough.

Has triple chiefs with blowers. Can't remember the HP, but it's a lot!

I thought it ran around the 117 mark, I could be wrong though. John has an awesome boat!
