Default Does all the cheaper motels get booked up for desert storm?

This will be my 1st time there and would rather just wait to get a room. OR would that be a mistake!?

Big Mistake, unless you want to drive 1-2 hour's or so for everything. There is a number of hotels, but this is a Large event for the area. Traffic is about the same as a big holiday weekend.

PR- Come on now don't be a wus!! I bet you walk the street party 3-4 times, and that's a lot farther than the bridge to the street party. Now the bridge to the Nautical is too far!

We are staying at King's View Condos. I thought that would be close enough to walk to everything but from what some of you are saying, that's a stretch. I don't mind the long walks but if it's too far and the wife doesn't like it

Just google desert storm 2012,2011,2010, etc. there is a zillion pics and videos. I am taking my dogs so I require a home with a pool. That will keep dogs busy when we are boating. Vacation home is so much better than motel room

Are you planning to pull a boat, bum a ride or just fly into Vegas and spend time on land?

Check youtube, plenty. There will not be too many of the speed runs from last year since they were blown away.
