My Engine RPM Run Data Hours,Is This Bad??
3 Attachment(s)
I'm going back together with my winter rebuilds and figured I would post the run data times and RPMS out of my Starboard motors computer.Mef 3 .The screen capture is in seconds.
What ya think? I'm curious Is this considered easy Hours/ Minutes??? Also this includes 2 different Dyno sessions. And 1 lake tunning session in July 2008. 0-1000 RPM =128.17 Hours 1001-2000 RPM = 16.50 Hours 2001-3000 RPM= 25.04 Hours 3001-4000 RPM = 37.92 Hours 4001-5000 RPM = 3.36 Hours 5001 RPM and up = 21.55 Minutes I normally cruz at 3200-3400 RPM I guess this shows that. The Whipple's Boost starts coming in at 4000 RPM Engine build up thread http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...-build-up.html Thanks for your opinions. Rob |

Impressive. You drive like me....which others would classify as a "vagina" ...LOL

Seems easy to me....

Sup' Strip, I am always amazed at how you keep up on your toys , everything is always spotless, the cars , truck , and specially the boat.
I am always impressed when you send me pics of tear downs and how well bearings , parts, etc, look , like the day they came out of the box. You kept those Whipple's shinning as if they looked like the day they showed up! Remember when you bought them , big $$$$ in that choice for the premium must have chargers that should provide years of service running at those hours... Looking forward to running in the Hustler @ The Tickfaw Run this year, good seeing you the other day , thanks again for storing the boat and car trailers while I moved:flag: |
Wow, you could eat off of those engines. Beautiful.
|
Spotless! Nice job..

Typical usage, most time spent idling at the dock or in and out of wherever you go. Fair amount of cruising, and some "fun time" at speed. This showns your whipples should have very little wear and the tolerances on the vanes should be good.
Go out and burn some more hydrocarbons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Dude, you idle way too much! lol
|
Those engines look like works of art!
