New Mystic at boatshow
 

There was a new gray mystic at the miami boat show anybody have any info on it?
It was turbine powered and looked like it had a different type of canopy.

Not new. Horrible canopy.

Who's boat is it?

I've seen pics of that boat before too.

Why do I want to say Reggie 3rd had it forsale? Atleast I remember seeing him advertise it. Truly Ugly boat I have to say...well that canopy that is...rest of it is fine..

Awesome boat, it is used and I was told at the show $975,000 on a trailer. Too rich for me but it is awesome. Doug

I saw it in person at the show and it did not look right. Not being a hater but it seemed odd looking to me. the canopy was pretty high.

I agree it looks great in these pics but not so much in person. I walked by it about 30 times since I was hanging out in the OL booth next door all weekend. Every time I walked by I thought it looked wrong.

How so? I can't see anything odd in the pics...actually looks great!

I think It has to do with window height vs total canopy height. also this one seems longer than other mystics.

It was made to be a poker run/pleasure boat....6 person canopy
that's why it is a little taller and longer....

That's what I figured, To me it looks ok, the pleasure version on the other hand looks off to me, over all, all the mystics look good but when you compare the the look of the windows to say an OL or newer MTI they just don't look as sleek. but I'm guessing the smallish windows are a safety feature?

It has two 1850 turbines, 50ft 200mph boat it's definetly going to be bad ass, but it'd be hard to dispute this particular boat was not thought out well. (1) irregular canopy shape... MTI's canopy on the 52 was much better thought out and innovative (2) doesn't look like you'll have too good of a view behind you as there's two huge walls going to the back of the boat. (3) lack of definition where the deck ends and the side wall begins. Understandably they were looking for more room in the cockpit, they is simply failed to make it all mesh together as one cohesive piece. Would I own one? Hell yes, it is bad ass. If you gave me a choice between that boat or any of the MTI,OL,Skater, Statement I would take the ladder. Regardless you have to applaud mystic... Building million dollar boats regularly and still holding the trophy as the fastest boat out there!

LOL I do agree. maybe a taller deck height would of worked better , for the Mystic. Being a pleasure boat and not race. I still like it and the side door is pissa, for getting 6 people in and out. whats the black boat looks like to many blind spots with that lid.
