Interesting how a beautiful boat with a classically simple paint job has generated so much positive feedback. It makes me think of a thread in the past year (or two?) of a flat deck (I think from Michigan) that was beautifully restored and pained a sort of gun metal blue/grey that generated so much attention also. There is beauty in simplicity if it's executed well. Brad Schoenwalds (sp?) 1/2 90 mph cig paint job is another beauty IMO.

It went to Louisiana. That was a fun boat!

I love Blees Cig very classy, the 1/2 90 is another great paint job, in fact thats how I'm painting my boat, except not red and white, it s just that its a time less look, some many paint jobs look great at the time, but there dated, whats looks good now doesn't always look good later...this is one that looks good all the time....

Fav 38 of all time. I would consider buying it when it is time to sell. I like the power, everything

Obviously on a boat that is used, it should get cleaned every week. Having it detailed every time its used is very cool. I understand all that, my boat is spotless too, but if you dont use the boat, to detail and wax it?? Then if you dont use it the next week, detail it again?

I too get my boat detail every Fri morning regardless if i'm using it that weekend or not. We you have such a beautiful toy what's an extra $500 a month to maintain it to look that way.

That's exactly how I see it.

To slightly clarify, mine doesn't get "waxed" every Friday, but it does get waxed once a month. It gets washed, wiped down, vacuumed, & then recovered with it's travel cover every Friday for the weekend.

Occasionally I won't use the boat on a weekend for whatever reason, but they still come every Friday & give it it's weekly sponge bath.
