New Truck... Thanks bsag!!
I just purchased a new 2500 Avalanche from bsag, (Brett Dean). This guy knows his stuff, and bent over backwards to find the truck I wanted, (found in Florida).
Can you believe I drove 100 miles to get to his dealer (in the sticks by the way), sat thru 10 F-ING MILES of bumper-to-bumper traffic at the Bay Bridge on a Saturday, and then got rear ended 1 mile from his dealer??? Some girl on her way to the beach rear ended my Tahoe, on my WAY TO TRADE IT IN!!! No real damage though, just scuffs. Thank goodness for steel bumpers and trailer hitches. I think Brett set it up anyhow to shave a few bucks off my trade!!! (Just kidding!!!)
Anyhow, I will post pics and more details later; after I pick it up this week. I picked one out in white, so its lines should match the Sonic well!!
Seriously, if you need any GM vehicle; drop bsag a line. He has helped myself, and Too Old, and a few others.

Sydwayz,
Welcome to the ranks of proud Avalanche owners. In Feb I traded in my 2500 Suburban for a 2002 2500 Avalanche with the 8.1 and the same trans. I can tell you that I have been waiting for a vehicle like the Avalanche to come out for a long time. Even though I loved the 4 previous Suburbans that I owned along the way the Avalanche provides me with the best of both worlds SUV/Pickup. It just turned 6000 miles and I will say two things about the Avalanche, it produces virtually no wind noise and it gets better gas mileage then my 2500 Suburban equipped with the same exact power train, go figure. Glad to hear you got a good deal and welcome to the club.

Ty,
I have not been out in a while. I moved to Centreville two weekends ago, and have still been settling. I will be out this weekend, for sure. Brett is supposed to come around Solomon's and meet us on the Potomac this weekend. It sounds like Emil got the 32' with the single, right? I look forward to seeing it! I will get in touch with you one way or another soon.
