Bravo 1 Diesel

Are the bravo 1 diesel drives built heavier than a standard bravo 1 ?

In the today,s drives ,the only difference is the decal ,back when there was no X-XR-XZ ,there was the diesel /performance bravo 1 ,that one had heat threated upper gears according Mercruiser back then.
The gears did have a different part number .

I have two of them on my boat, installed when diesels were installed years ago. Still have the diesel drives behind the 6.2's .The drive ratio is 1.65 that allows turning labbed and trued b1 26P props to 5000 rpm.
