Go Pro mounting

How is everyone mounting there cameras ? With the provided adhesive mounts or suction cup ?

I don't like the idea of the adhesive mounts on my boat so I use a suction cup and then I fastened a lanyard to the closest thing so if a big hit takes it off i don't lose the camera. Probably gonna scratch the boat though.

But the adhesive mounts do work very good!

I've used the suction cup as well, it has incredible bite. A safety lanyard if possible is a good idea too.

Used the suction cup on my wind screen on my outlaw and had no issues.

A GoPro to Mac is two separate words lol. Thanks guys I really didn't want to use the adhesives but don't want to lose the thing either

Suction cup works well but I always try and mount it somewhere I can zip tie it to a rail or something....

I wasn't comfortable with the included gopro suction cup. It seems way to flimsy for my liking. I bought myself a heavier duty one that i dont need to worry about. You will have to buy the tripod adapter for the camera as well to use it though. It's strong enough to hang on it myself, and i like the indicator to let you know if its losing suction as well.

I've seen one with suction cup mount go flying. Lanyard would have saved it.

That's a really nice mount! I have used the factory gopro suction mount with no issues. I always use some sort of tether.
