What could cause this roll over????
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyKBOv9UYzQ
how can you explain that? some say backing off throttle too fast and it is caused by the steps??? some say Tie bar broke and one drive kind of turned ???? wich I don't really believe... Experts opinion? |
Wow, that's the first time that I have seen that video. The slow motion video is pretty clear (compared to some other videos I've seen) so it will be interesting to see what the experts have to say. Tabs look like they are up, but what's interesting is that the boat is coming in for a left hand turn, but the drive (possibly drives, but hard to see both) look as if it is set up to make a right hand turn. Possible steering failer or maybe broken tie bar issue like you mention? The roll itself didn't have the characteristics that I am used to seeing with a stepped hull when the bow catches and trips and send the rest of the boat into a roll...it seemed much more gradual of a roll. Hope that everyone was ok.
