welcome aboard, lots of knowledge on this site, and small boats are fun to.my first one was a 17 ft switzer with a merc 115 outboard, had a lot of fun with it.

Welcome aboard! There's no specific small boat section because not many of us are smart enough to keep and enjoy them!:lolhit:
My first 2 were a 19' caravelle and a 23' stingray both went many season with little to no repair, now it seems like I'm doing a total rebuild every winter !

Welcome smallfish, there is a ton of info on here. Randy

Thanks guys! Seems like a very cool forum . About the boat hmmmmm. well its a 2007 Laveycraft 24'
has the ugly 496 Mag (yuk) but its dependable. Great family boat. I will get some pics in.

mike tkach 03-22-2013 05:32 PM

if you leave the 496 alone and just do regular servicing,it will last dam near forever,id say the 24 lavey is a very nice boat!
