DNF for the American in x-cat

anyone know what caused the Mouwad (sp) boat of Omar Daniel and Gary Ballough to dnf in round three? Fazza and Mouwad were one and two in the first two rounds, the site says Fazza had a gearcase failure, but no mention of what caused Mouwad's dnf

They did not DNF, they finished in 7th after blowing up a motor in qualifying. They had to start all the way out side and missed a buoy causing them to take an extra long lap. They were still able to finish on the lead lap, thus beating 5 other boats.
