Attached is one of the photos I could not resize, and hence could not use, in Photoshop for our story. I think it shows the degree to which AMF Offshore Rigging was willing to take the detail on this project. (Of course, it also helps to have a client who is willing to pay for it.) |

Quick update: Stray and Begovich ran out of time and did not get the boat in the water yesterday.
If it happens today, speedonthewater.com will report. Also, someone an in earlier post asked for an engine shot. Here's one, courtesy of Gary Stray. |

Thanks for the pic.....this is probably the gear box configuration to get the gas turbine aimed with the exhaust facing rearward. SCS units.

Well, that was a bad ending to a great story.
Hell yeah. I love the brute force huge v-hull.
He commissioned this after his TS top gun unexpectedly spun on him. |

Yes bad and incomplete. Like spending 5k on a hooker and having whiskey dick. Come on. Someone tell us if the thing ever worked at all and if it did what it ran and how it handled. Pretty please.
Now we know more! Thanks for the link!
I looked on the Trinidad Tobago powerboat site, no mention of the boat, Cant find any sign of it since the 2013 articles.
100mph? Lol. What's kemosabe run?
Im pretty sure I saw a vid. of it running 111, maybe as high as 117? That was some time ago, maybe on instagram or facebook no idea. I know it did over 110mph whenever I saw it. I've always loved that boat
I suspect what happens in situations like this, is that somebody has a bright idea, drops a chunk of change, idea doesnt work as expected, a couple more chunks of change get dropped trying to make it do what its supposed too. Yet it doesn't and happy guy with bright idea gets tired of dropping chunks of change, thus bright idea goes to the wayside. Its a phenomenon ......... and is either collecting dust or for sale.....
