42' Chief's First Sea Trial Video
Sweet!!!!
Love those Arnesons! Good luck to the Chief race boat crew & I will look forward to seeing them in action.
Nice.
Thought i read somwhere that Arneson wassa pool guy?!?!?!?
and YES i cannot stop wattchin this surface driven YOUTUBE! |
How fast was that?
Nice video, thanks for posting.
I realize you need to drag the anticipation out alittle longer, but give us a ball park speed the boat is running. SICK video, love the props surfacing....would hate to lose a blade.
Yea, what kind of numbers are we talking about here. I bet we all have a guess in mind:)

Straight as an arrow. Kinda looks like a 100 mph rig to me. ;)
lets hope so, but i would like to see a gps reading, to keep everyone honest:)
Hard to say..always looks fast on the water! In our neck of the woods, the GPS is referred to as THE LIE DETECTOR!
The Lie Detector has broken ALOT of hearts here in CT! Hahaha. But yea, looks to run HARD and thats in flat water. :party-smiley-004: |
Running great. I love seeing the props spinning on those Arnesons.
Thanks for the video! Great

Very impressive.
I'd want to see a fly-by video!
Looks pretty wicked!!!
Hopefully there will be more video next week when it runs again.
I love it when they throttle up and the camera starts pointing down.
At least they still have it. Gopro should use offshore race boats as their product proving ground. Anything over 80 all bets are off nevermind rough water. I'm sure thoseguys tightened the crap out of that screw. I do.

with go pro, it helps to 'flip' the camera so it shoots upside down
and then hang it in-stead of having the last clamp under the lense also,... go pro mounts n clamps are not good the only piece you NEED is the adapter for 1/4 inch threads, then you get real stuff at a camera pro shop for mounting and suction cupping and clamping |
