How much for new 29 Fever w/a 500?
What is a good price for a 2002 29 Fever w/a 500 efi?
Thanks. |
Carl,
Going to the beak boats, are ya! |
Same Price, as a 32 Sunsation, with Twins!!!!!!!!! :D

I know that Fountain's website has changed recently, but it used to have a boat configurator. You could choose your model and the add power and options and it gave you a price. This is a list price so its up there. Usually through a dealer you can get up to about 30% off of list. I spec'ed out a 27 Fever with a 500EFI one day and got over 100K but new ones were in boat trader the same day in the 80's.
Good luck, a 29 with a 500EFI is a perfect boat. One of the best single engined offshores built. Ron |
Hey Carl whats up man how you been? Hows all out in Cali. :D:D

Look up Fever Mike on this board. He has a 2000 29 with a 500. I think its for sale and the boat has been well taken care of. He could tell you what they cost new.

The local dealer was trying hard to sell one with a 575'SC last winter. The last price I heard was $115,000 with the Myco trailer.
Hope this helps. |
Carl,
I have one here that is loaded. 500EFI, Pacific trailer, all the goodies. Sticker is $128,500. Give me a call for more information. Im sure we can hit a number you will be happy with. Matthew W.DeLisio |
My 2001 32 Sunsation is for sale with 500hp's . The motors are warrantied until May 2003. Mine is also cheaper than our local Fountain dealers 29 with a 500. He had one listed for 105,000. I dont know how it was equipped though.

Perico Marina in Bradenton had a left over 2001 with HP 500 in stock a few months ago for $83,000. Fever Mike and I went and looked at and it was a nice boat. I had looked at that same boat about 6 months earlier and they wanted $116,000.
I would guess a good price to be right around $95,000-$100,000. Loaded up probably a little more. I have been trying to buy a Chevy Tahoe for the past two days and even though the economy is piss poor right at the moment, the dealers don't seem to give a **** if you walk over a few hundred bucks on a $40,000 truck. I am assuming boat dealers are in the same market right now. In other words, the steals may be hard to come by. Mike |
Hey Big Mike,
If you dont mind driving to NC, you can get a hell of a deal on a Tahoe or a Suburban. We just bought a 2002 Suburban loaded with everything, Sticker was $46,000, we paid 38,100. |
Jon and Jim,
How's it going guys? I don't get on the board as much, the little ones keep me busy. Matthew, I bought my last boat from J. G. at DSM, talked with him regarding that black one. He said that 130K was the sale price, can you beat that? That boat is nice, but not that nice. Email me at [email protected] Carl |
Hey Carl, did you sell the outlaw?, I knew you were stepping up someday, but, I thought you were talking about a bigger boat:D
|
29 Fever with a 575, now that is a very nice package, probably getting high 70's around 79 I bet. If I had to do mine over thats what I would have purchased.;)

That 29 with a 575 from Charlotte wound up on Lake Hartwell. It runs low to mid 80's
|
I have also heard that the 29 with a 575SC is a very "sweet" package but before I put that much money into a 29, I would purchase one of the clean, low hour 98-99 35 Lightning's with twin HP500's that are out there for sale. I know of one person in our area that bought a nearly new 99 35 with HP's for $115,000. I suspect that a new 29 with the 575 would be at least that much $$. The 35 with HP500's or a 388 Slingshot will be our next boat, once we decide to get rid of the 27 Fever which we thoroughly enjoy! (you know how it is: "honey, we NEED a bigger boat")
Just my two cents! Bob |
H2X Mark,
I still have the Outlaw, just exploring options. Same speed/less gas sounds good. I really love the ride in my 29 though. I am really torn. Part of me wants a 33 Outlaw or a 31 American Offshore cat, it's just that my ass hurts when I leave the gas station. We'll see what happens. |
