Rocker arms
SubscribeHey Guys, Need some input. Upgrading push rods and rocker arms on my 496 Chevy that is getting a 174 B&M. Came across a Pro Comp rockers full roller (part # PC2305) set for $140.00 new in the box. My came is hyd flat tappet with a max lift @ 571 and wont be going over 5200 rpm. Seems like a good deal but wanted to see if any one has had problems with pro comp.
As soon as I figure out how to load pics I get some of the motor, looking great!
Thanks.

Give Bob Madera a call reference your rocker arm requirements. You will be glad you did.

yup yup yup... Spend a little more and get good stuff. Heads and Valve terrain are so important especially in a marine use with long sustained RPM's.Originally Posted by mike tkach

In your case, I would use a set of Harland Sharp rockers and Manley 3/8 .080 wall pushrods. Those parts won't break the bank and will outlast the rest of the engine. You will spend in the just under $500 area for both.
