I guess you could boat on the east coast and go to the one and only stop on the way down to KW. lol
Yep...I guess you're right...If I leave my home in Palm Beach Gardens on the East Coast and head to Key West...I can't think of more than one place to stop along the way

I live in the cape and keep the boat on the lift. Yup I'm an old boater ready to hang up the keys at 33 yeas old. Lol. I rumble in and out ight next to marine law enforcement and they haven't said a word so I don't know. I'm not saying one coast is better for boating but i know the cape is some of the best home prices.

I'm not sure about the fish guts, I haven't seen any of that yet and as far as which coast is best, it's the Gulf Coast, tons more to do, we boat from Punta Gorda (north) to Marco island (south) and plan on heading down to KW for a weekend trip soon.
Our boat is right behind our house, I guess you could boat on the east coast and go to the one and only stop on the way down to KW. lol
None of our neighbors say a word to me when we come rumbling in at night, they don't pay my bills.
We live over by Rumrunners.

As stated above, the only issue you will have is parking your boat in front or on the side of the house. Cape Coral Code Enforcement is a pain in the butt. Boats in Cape Coral must be in the back left corner of the lot, or behind a 6ft fence. Other than that you will not have any issues.

I'm reading this thinking people are complaining about not being able to park your boat on your lot.
Isn't that law a positive ?
The place would look like chit if there was a boat in every second driveway.
You can't ask for better destination oriented boating on this coast.
And we have the best old guide showin us around with BOBTHEBUILDER.

So if you plunk down a bunch of duckets for your dream house and a few more for a boat that catches your eye, your ok with other people telling you what you can do with your own stuff on your own property??

Yep
Cuz the lots down here haven't the space to have boat or trailer storage without adversely effecting the appearance of the next persons property.
I think that's common everywhere down here.
For sure it's that way in Naples and Sarasota.
If you think that's restrictive, there is a neighbourhood next to us that restricts real estate signs on lawns to 5 inches by 5 inches.
Never seen that before.

I guess we'll never be as cool as those other guys, but somehow we always seems to have a great time on the water, but the Gulf is beautiful.
About boats and stuff not sitting in front of the houses, that's one big reason we bought down here, if I wanted to live in a commercial area I would have bought in one, put your boat in rack storage, your garage or behind your house, I don't want to see it in your driveway all day, looks crappy.
We hangout at Rumrunners (the Joint) a lot on Friday nights, sounds like you're looking in the right place, good luck with your search.
