OSO Gathering for LOTO Shootout
 

Lets get some ideas going for an OSO meeting/party at LOTO for The Shootout weekend.

1. What night do you suggest? Fri or Sat

2. Where should we meet?

3. What time?

4. Anything else I missed????

1.Sat. night may work best for the people coming from out of state.

5. Partycove late Sat. afternoon.

A meeting Friday night would work for my crew. We can plan Saturday (PC) and Sunday (Shootout) from there.

By the way...fellow OSO member Freek-Azz will be bringing his 22' Celebrity down for the stereo competition. This weekend he won the state record for having the loudest boat in the state of Illinois!:eek:

And just my $.02...Saturday night would be a better night for a OSO get togther.

G' - You would not believe what you missed late Saturday afternoon last year when you guys pulled out of the cove EARLY :eek: :eek: :eek:

My crew was so F*cking wasted I HAD to get them out of there. Thanks to Audiofn for revving up my wife on the green crap he was drinking, and then GORDO for getting my wife hammered on Bacardi 151 and Coke...made for a real nice evening.
Of course she was pretty quiet the next morning...right until the chicks across from us started that lesbo stuff...then she woke up a bit!:D ;)

The top deck of the house boat our group was rafted too became restricted to "couples only". Once you got up there though - all bets were off:eek:

We were still grinning when we woke up the next morning:D

I think it was your wife that was keeping me in open loop with the 151. But, I'm sorry if she got a little carried away.
Saturday evening sounds good for me, but trying to meet up in PC can be a ***** sometimes. If we plan to meet somewhere, we should make it somewhat early due to the size of our group. Plus, we will need to find a place with enough dock space.
I'm open for anything, but what about Salty Dog?

Hee hee hee!!! Not to worry brotha...I was just takin' a poke at ya! She's a big girl and can take care of herself...well..except for when her head is hanging over a toilet I guess.:D (ewww...that'll get her to post a response I imagine!:eek: )

We did pretty well hooking everyone up on Mem. Day - and you're right - we need to do it early if we're going to do it right. Perhaps a group photo before we head to PC? Since we're probably NEVER going to see the group shot that Waterfoul took...(ahem!).:rolleyes: I imagine we'll have a bigger group this time...

Staurday night is prolly better for us as well. We could try Pit Stop (old Tuckets) or maybe Topsider hook up by the pool and have a great view of our boating brethren battling the Large water as they leave the no wake zone. Shall we say 5 or 6 ?? . Its always dificult to leave PC too early :D

anyway there is my .01

Last year a group of us met at Shooters Friday night for the 'kini contest (although I'm not even sure they are having it this year; it wasn't listed on the schedule of events) and that made for a pretty good kick off to the weekend.

Saturday was all spent in the cove, by most of us.

Sunday was all spent watching the Shootout.

I thought it all worked out great, but I do think we should all meet up prior to make the entrance into the cove easier. And I agree with Gforce about maybe trying to get another group photo. We could always try the Lazy Days cove again, at, say 10:30?

Time to go home and pack the boat for THIS weekend. Whatever it be, count me IN.:cool:

Hey Lutzparty & Amy...was just browsing through some old pic's...This one's from last yr. before you put the pole in!! And, I think that's JBK to the left of Amy....

Although I am not staying at Lazy Days this time, it made a good place to meet before going to PC. Calm water, good photo op.

BY THE WAY, I cannot find the disk with the last group photo on it. It has to be in my truck, but I can barely get myself to look at the truck much less get in it right now. It has me SOOOOO pissed off.

And I still have a LOT of beads from Mem. Day!!! Pounds and pounds of them!!!!!

So at this point it looks like Friday is still up in the air, Saturday is PC or the Shootout?????? Sunday?????

I'll be there Friday afternoon until the next Friday for sure and might stick around through Labor Day. Since the A/C in my house just took a chit, that might make fund$ a little tighter and put the brakes on that idea.

Sounds like a good plan so far. with Sat at PC and Sun at the Shootout. Those of us that are going to be there early enough Fri could get together at the Horny Toad again or ????????

G-Force, saw that you're going to be down the entire 10 days. We'll have to hook up during the week sometime. The Lake is pretty much dead so we'll have to make our own party.

The family and I, and some others, are going to be there from the 18 or 19th thru the 24th. I'm not bringing the Cigarette but I am bringing my 20' Outlaw. Not sure where we will be staying. You got my cell # so keep me posted where you will be. Never been there and I'm told the lake gets a little rough for smaller boats. Oh well:eek:

We'll be down late Wed. nite staying at Lazy Days. Plan to stay updated and meet up with the group. Sounds like a meet in front of Lazy Days around 10:30am Sat is a great place to meet. Then on to PARTY COVE!

Sounds like a plan!! I was wondering just what the hell I'd be doing during the course of a week down there...:)

i'll be down there the week between the shootout and labor day too. i'm sure we can find something to entertain us.....LOL! if nothing else, we could always do figure-8's around the bridge supports for the toll bridge. don't let ssherman drive though....:eek:
