Sure as hell beats watching Stupid Housewife's and CSI crap on television.

Just sayin

Personally, I like both. The one euro episode I saw with a boat vs. car race, the boat broke down. Oh yeah, so did the replacement. Neither were a cigarette style boat, even though they tried to imply it was, Sad. Oh yeah, they didn't drive it either.

Still one of most entertaining episodes i have every watched.

UK Top Gear is so much better than the US version. I tried to get into the US version but they just don't banter and carry on as well. US version seems too scripted to me.

I tried as well, didnt make it five minutes. Nearly every episode is some poorly done re hash of a UK episode without any originality. Plus the three guys just annoy the heck out of me lol. . . . . very weak

UK Top Gear is my favorite TV show by far.

US Top Gear is horrible. I still watch it, but that's simply because I'll watch just about any car show over most of the other crap on TV.

UK Top Gear is the best thing on TV IMO, if you like cars and comedy. The US Version is an abomination! Sorry my American friends, you do many things well but that ain't one of um :-)
Admittedly I still watch it from time to time cause, like another poster said, I will watch anything about cars. They recently had a show that put a Range Rover Sport Supercharged up against an Escalade and Grand Cherokee SRT8...it was mildly entertaining.

Cool find thanks for posting. Love the show and was fun to watch one of our favorite runs featured on the show.

I think there has been three episodes that featured a boat vs car theme. The one where they raced a car and the boat and the dingy break down. The one where they raced through London and Jeremy uses a boat on the river, and the episode when James is in the ocean headed to Monte Carlo. Every time they either have something happen to the boat, crew or handy cap the boat so it does not win.

The episode with Jeremy running the river in London uses a a Cougar with a Honda 225 on the back. I think this boat also makes an appearance in the episode where they try to make amphibious cars.
