Delray has community dock for overnighting just behind the Lady Atlantic.

Or just go to Deck 84 get drunk and pass out on your boat at their dock. We've stayed there till dawn a few times and nobody said anything... LOL

I was thinking the same thing, a few hotels within a short walk from the Delray dock.

any ramps in Jupiter to leave the Truck and Trailers for the week?

Jupiter Sunsation 06-04-2013 01:30 PM

A. You have to buy a sticker to park at those ramps (Burt Reynolds Park). $35 annual or $10 a day the ticket is like $50 but not sure if someone would ticket the truck daily.
B. Ramp on the east side (by the fire station) is much better lit and very visible to passing traffic on US1. West side is better for launching but it gets dark back there at night.

JS,

let me make sure I understand this.

Burt Reynolds park is the west side ramp with good launching but a little less safe at night

The East side park by the fire station is better lit and visible to traffic (is that a good or bad thing?) And what is the name of the East side ramp?

Correct....both sides are Burt Reynolds Park. Visible to traffic on US1 under good lighting would make someone more hesitant to bother the truck. West side is heavily treed, less lights and pitch black at night. East side looks like a mall parking lot at night. Google it and you will see exactly what I mean. You could reach out to Scott Henley, Henley marine to see if he has a spot to park your rig. He is the local Bahama Boatworks dealer and his shop is 100 yards from the boat ramp.

Just called them, they wont allow overnight parking longer then 24 hrs, even with annual pass. Ill try Scott Henley. Any other ramps or thoughts?

No other ramps are going to help.....more desolate/rougher areas when you go south towards Peanut Island.

Call Jupiter Pointe Marina and see if they have a spot for your rig (huge new facility) or Blowing Rocks Marina next door (more of a low key, locals place). As a last resort you could check with Jupiter Hills Marina (just 500 yards further north than Jupiter Pointe/Blowing Rocks) but it is really a dormant place, I believe it is for sale/ owner trying to retire but it is gated and the low traffic might be beneficial to parking a truck/trailer. All 3 places will have room but the prices will be way different.
