I know there is a lot of money on Grand but it is ridiculously over priced. They want $400 per hand.

$400 per boat is outrageous. That's our home lake and we won't be running in it. Especially when they don't even tell you what the payout will be.

Hey fountain38, you put up the entry fee and gas money, I'll bring the beer

Sorry guys, I won't be able to make it.....I'm down an engine now...holed a piston a week ago.
Robert, how did the outdrive situation work out. I emailed you and never heard.

Eyezlee- my disc brakes on the trailer are AWESOME. I hope you got your trailer fixed. I was by your parents last weekend. Todd may be redo'ing one or both engines depending and several factors.
SR-24- , I agree totally about the outrageos price asked for the run. I guess the sponsors figure we are stupid, and somehow have enough money to own a boat. I would not pay it either!! I guess just for the rich guys!!
The Golden Eagle Run at least posts how much the minimum purse will be and better water to run on too!! Sorry Eyezlee (about the water!!)

What are you talking about? Running in snotty water is what its all about. You know up at Grand you have to actually drive your boat. You just can't slam the throttles forward then go down in the cuddy for a beer, like you can an Eufaula.

Your 31 will more than handle Grand.
