Nice job! What brand/model/size boat? Hard to tell from the angle of the pic.
|
Very nice. Is that a Phantom?
|
who makes that boat ?

Beautiful, I like it when the graphics aren't overdone. Some look like the table of a pinball machine. What kind of boat is it?
|
Looks to me like a Phantom 34...great looking paint. Mitcher T does some nice work! what power do you have in it?

Try downloading the program PhantomChaos linked on this thread. Install it, open the program, open the pic with the program, and then under one of the dropdown menus will be the "resize" option. Use it. Works great. P.S. Chaos, it you read this, thanks for the link. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forum/sh...threadid=28733 |
34 Phantom
You guys to way so smart. It is a 1999 34 Phantom F2 Classic. A pair of 500 hp's with Bravo drives. I need to play with props, it is way over proped but Jim at Awesome performance boats is helping me find the right set. This will give be time to get used to the boat.:D

You will love it. I had Mr Technology and we ran with the best of them, usually in front.
Was that an F2 race boat? Which one? Email me the photo and I'll shrink it to fit. [email protected] |
If you would like, I can review my old notes from the Phantom years and let you know what worked for us.
They are a great boat but it just wasn't good for racing in big water. It does get lots of looks on the water. |
nice boat where do you run it ???
|
Thanks Guys
I look forward to any info you past Phantom owners can give me on Props. It would be run mainly on Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair river as I live in Algonac.:D

GARY
is that the old f2-90 VOODOO race boat. JEFF sold that and bought a cat. you schould really like how that boat can turn. depending on how fresh your 500hp are you will like 28 or 29 hydromotives the best. that is what has worked for us. |

Hey Pipe Dream, nice boat, it looks familiar. I told Gary to hook up with you guys at a race and get some tips on props. So how have you guys been doing this year? Are you guys going to Key West this year?
Dyno, the boat was on the west coast for a couple years under Twister Racing. Then we sold it to Pipe Dream in 99 who has been running it hard on the Great Lakes. Here is a photo of the boat in San Francisco: http://www.offshoreonly.com/gallery/....php?photo=557 |
Hey Gary,
I never saw this thread when it was originally posted, and I was just about to send you a private message asking how come you didnt post pic's of it, so I did a search with your name and it pulled up all of your posts, and I saw one titled "pic's of my new boat". Anyway, that thing is bad ass, I checked it out when it was at Sparky's shop and I loved it. Then you came by Barry's house in it a few weeks ago,I wondered if that was the same boat with graphics on it. It looks great, and sounded sweet too, nice and loud, and then the fly by you did was cool, looked fast, and rode really flat. Barry's dock is a great spot to get photo's from, it's nice and high up, and free, commpared to boatpix getting you from the chopper that's a hell of a good deal!!! The boatpix chopper followed me into gull saturday, There was a ton of big boat's kicking up big walls of water too, and I got some great launches, I hope they contact me about the pic's they got! |
What a sweet looking ride!!!! :D:D:D:D
|
Pictures don't do the boat justice. Had the pleasure of running next to Gary this past July. Great looking ride.
Rob, I just filled out the online form on Boat Pix' Web Site and they claimed three to four weeks turnaround time. On the plus side, they send out at least three 8" x 10" photos and you only pay for the photo's you keep, return all others. Hell, I'll pay $30 - $40 in shipping just to see the photos. Also, I think I passed you by on Saturday morning around 11:00 AM. You were heading towards Gull and I was heading back towards metro. I don't typically see too many 32' Advantages out on LSC, so that pretty much limited it down. -Bayley |
Really beautiful boat!!
I've always liked the lines of that boat. Great graphics and paint! Have fun with it.:D |
Great looking boat!!! :D
|
Looks great! Who did the paint? How can I get in touch with him?
|
http://www.mitchertcustompainting.com/
Thats the mitcher T web site. He does do sweet paintwork, all of sunsations boats, awesome cats, black thunder, and checkmate's, and probably more too. My friend has a full out wild paint job from on his Viscious cat, complete with ghost checkered flag that shows differently depending on the lighting, all under a brilliant blue base, man is it cool looking. On the site if you go to "other" boats, and poke & hold the down arrow, his is the last one, and wow are there alot of other sweet looking rides on there too!! Bayley, I've put my stuff in to boatpix already, just crossing my fingers now!! I was on my way out to jobbienooner2, there are 2 32's on the lake and the other one is red black and white so they are easy to tell them apart. |
