Fortunately, looks like the guy is OK. What are these people thinking?
By Associated Press, 7/25/2002 08:12 MEREDITH, N.H. (AP) A Derry man suffered serious cuts after being hit by a boat propeller while water skiing on Lake Winnipesaukee. The state Marine Patrol said Robert Wilson, 42, was injured while attempting to pull himself onto a platform at the rear of a boat that had been pulling him Thursday afternoon. He suffered several cuts. The Marine Patrol said the injuries didn't appear to be life-threatening. Officers said the engine was running and the boat was in gear as Wilson attempted to climb aboard. |

On a serious note, I catch many people doing this in small ski boats. Oncve I was being pulled by a friend of a friend sking. Once we stopped and I was swiming to the boat, the ass put in reverse at me so I wouldn't have to swim 10 feet. I told her to stop, and then corrected her "nicely" She then refused to turn the motor off in order for me to board:mad: I sat in the water for a min or so until she gave in.
Seriously, please inform these people of their mistakes if you see it happen. Can easily be a bad mistake. WILL:eek: |
Wouldn't it be cool if stupidity was painful? Then it would hurt before some else got hurt.
