yes . stuff has gone up . hosing alone is like 4 dollars a foot . I did exactly what youre wanting to do . exactly everything on back of boat stayed . all cable assist inside torn out . full hydrollic to the helm installed with dual powersteering pumps . new canister, lines, filter , bypass valve, fitting ect , helm . it wasn't cheap . but worth it . good luck

Yesd... This is the same as I have now....I have hydraulic power assist with two rams mounted between my trs drives and cable from helm to transom. I basically can keep my current rams and tie into inside my engine compartment. But I will need everything forward.....Thanks to all of the responses...Does anyone have any used system available?

I have just purchased a complete external Mercury twin ram hydraulic steering set up to install on my twin TRS Formula. Would you mind getting me a measurement from the inside of the gimble housing to the inside of the cylinder bracket that bolts thru the transom. I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks for now Ron |
