Default Procharger bearing failures, anyone else have this problem

I have a pair of M-1 Prochargers. Last yr. I had to change the bearings in one of them because they went bad. This yr. I had to change the other one. After putting it back together I decided to check the other side. Took the belt off and turned the pully and found these are bad too. About 100 hrs on these!

These were not replaced by procharger. We got the bearings from the local bearing shop.

Anyone else have this problem or do I have an issue with these superchargers?

Thanks

How are you telling bearings are bad? Can you feel it when you are turning over by hand??

I only have about 40 hrs on M4 procharger & everthing seem OK. Got friend that is on 3rd year with M1.s aprox. 150 hrs & no problems we are aware of.

Hey...I thought it was a stop at Dunken Doughnuts and then off to the shop to get those things fixed. You dont have time for OSO right now

Turns out the second one did not have a bad bearing. But what is happenening is somehow the pullies are getting pulled into the housing, very tight. Scoring, and melting both the pully and the housing.

Chris, everything is put back together ok for tomorrow, no worries
