Memorial day on the Missouri

It was a little chilly in Michigan, but we had fun on team synergy's Sonic nonetheless...

Boat stayed on the trailer unfortunately but we did manage to spend an hour or so hanging out at the local yacht club. :lolhit:

Better make sure we are up to date with our Tetanus shots.

Ran into Lady Lisa heading out into the Gulf Saturday, what a beautiful weekend.

I'm sure ill get crucified for saying this but in a poker run or at any time isn't this slightly unsafe? I count 13 in the pic. I know that's a huge boat but you guys looked crammed in there bad. It's a beautiful boat and I'm sure an experienced captain but that just looks jammed.

The velocity is down getting a new blower setup, but we did manage to take the offshore boat out tubing for the day.

No it won't be me to crucify you for your comment Mickey, but I will respond. First you were low with your head count .... there were actually 16 on board. Crammed ? ... ya, a bit but no one complained. Nothing but smiles and laughter from start to finish. We included several from the Islands who never get the chance to get a ride like that. Life jackets should be worn and were offered to all, but all declined. It is very different down there. They just will not wear them and that's the way it is. Hopefully in time they will come around on that. And yes, I am an experienced Captain with well over a hundred poker runs under my belt and over 5,000 hrs at the helm of various offshore boats in the last 30 years. I've never had an accident or collision of any kind. I do not drink and am a safe operator. Guess that's enough.

Thanks, Mickey. In the US and Canada we do wear our life jackets unless just a casual run. Down there the culture is different. They live on islands, are surrounded by water every day, learned to swim before they can walk and they think nothing of it. It's all good. They love Team PREDATOR and make us feel very welcome.

13" of rain Memorial Day weekend.....only good it did was add water to the lakes in central Texas!

55 windy and rain all day. Boat has not even been de-winterized this year.
