can anyone tell me how far the flats are from the race course, and can you get there by boat, also are there any good marina/bars in the flats where you can dock overnight?

The Flats are on the Cuyahoga River, the race is at the mouth of the Cuyahoga, down the breakwall, out to the crib (water intake for the city), and back. You can watch the race from land very well.
There are two spots to watch it inside the wall;West of the river mouth, and east of the breakwall.

There will be three or four of us going up if you want some company on the boat. If not we will be leaving Friday afternoon and coming back Sunday afternoon if you are going up alone we might have room in the tahoe let me know. This weekend is River Days in New Richmond on the river
Good friends of mine own the docks up one from New Richmond
I will be around there all weekend....stop and visit!!!!
2 big houseboats on the outside......my boat should be the
1st on the inside.....Band Sat. night,good food lotsa fun!!!!

I will check and see what Chris is up to! Hopefully we will maybe make it up. If not I might just bring his boat since I leave my boat down at the lake. I have to help my Dad move on Saturday then go to my girlfriend's dad's company picinic so look for us on Sunday.
