The twins always ran much flatter than the singles but it will be interesting to see what the step does or doesn't add to the equation.

Not quite. Rob is so full of hot air that he had a large pipe hooked directly from the tubes to the drivers side of the boat and equipped with a mouthpiece into which he blew. :evilb:

I completely agree on the twins in rough water. I only drove mine a little with the twins before I restored the boat... to a single. It made it a lot nicer to drive and much more practical, but never had the power or rough water ability. With the 300 it was a pleasure to drive, with the old twins...... an animal.
