What would a rough ball park price range be to buy a house in one of the larger square bays on the right hand side of the map.

You don't want those. Basically blocked in by water. Lots of condos also.

We live two blocks west of the bottom group of lakes in the picture above and looked a house on the lakes when we were searching. I don't know of any condos over there, but the drawbacks that I saw were A) shallow water near the edges and B) a not so tall bridge that you have to go under to get out. We chose to buy a house with what they call "direct access".

Forgot to answer your question... I just checked Trulia . com. The houses surrounding those lakes (that are on the market) range from 300K to 1.25 million
