im looking for a magnum marine or other cc boat built on an aronow hull. i know the magnum was built by don, and a few cigarettes, is the contender an aronow hull? what other makes were built on his hull designs?

i just missed a sweet, magnum, pls let me know if you know of one for sale...thx, rm

I have to credit THISISTANK for the info: The Cafe 33' Open which the mold rights were eventually sold to Ocean Hawk (still built). Cig only build a few. I saw a Café 33 open at the NY boat show, they are awesome. The Ocean Hawks are great boats.

great thx, moved to costa rica about 8 yrs ago full time, now im living in medellin colombia been here for 3.5 years. no way you can own a big hp offshore boat here, it's tough enough build to a hot rod. lol im building a blown 48 anglia a buddy gave me that is 100% rust free, its getting a blown big block. i also have a pro touring camaro in florida im shipping down in a month in my container... 800hp 540 pump gas eng, 6sp, full dse chassis, etc... there are no speeding tickets here, so i drive everywhere like a mad man...

i want to find a nice older aronow hull with a steep dead rise so the guest don;t get beat up going and coming... that have these launches they use that ride like a boston whaler...and hold 45 people... not a fun ride

i just missed a beautiful 27 magnum... trying like heck to find another... trying to find something in decent shape with twin i/o's for power... i only found one ocean hawk, it was in sad shape and he wanted 50k cuz it had the cig logo on the side. lol

thx, i looked at that, but trips would kill me on fuel its 6 bucks a gallon on the water... i want to spend around 25k, it will cost another 5 to get it here and probably 10-15 k in taxes/duties...

that is a sweet one, but the cuddy cabin takes up room i need for bench seating to move people and building supplies to and from the island...

i have way to much stuff going on to fix that mess. i need to put the boat into service the minute it gets here, already have all the building permits and guys are felling more trees for the lumber...but thx for the link

thx i will take a look, i found a nice midnight express, but is has a pair 300s on it, i want efi 6cyl engines...they are cheaper to fix and put gas in...

nice boat, but i want twins as there is no coast guard if i have a mechanical failure.... and i want a little bigger boat for hualing my materials... i am going to build the cottages about 10 mins from the docks, and move sections of the walls and floors pre made so i just bolt them together on site... 27 to 30 ft is what i think will serve me best... i plan to build side to side bench seating to hold 20 or so people once the construction is completed and we have 100 rooms...

i have about two weeks before i head back to fl, so maybe i will get lucky and a 27 magnum will turn up....
