Just spoke with Jay. He is still waiting to go into surgery. He thinks maybe around 3:30 PM so we may not have further word until this evening. Word has it that he has the best neuro surgeon in northern Michigan. All the best to Jay and speedy recovery.
Bob Hopefully the surgery goes smoothly and Jay gets home quickly. |
Get well, Jay! For your sake and ours, we hope you can make it to the Shootout at LOTO next month! Follow Doctor's orders! ;)

I am happy to report that Jay's surgery went well and he is back in his ICU room but heavily sedated. I will not be able to speak to him directly until tomorrow but am told that it went well and was pretty much a textbook surgery. So that is great news and now he will need time to convalesce. He will probably be discharged by Thursday but doubt he can go far just yet. We will know more on that and how he is recuperating as the next few days pass. I will post his progress as we learn more.
Thank you all for your expressions of sympathy and concern for Jay. Bob |
Jay , heal up quickly and don't get to liken' the pain meds too much . The absence of your spectacular artistry and of course yourself will leave a big hole around here . Get well soon .
