Looking not so far down the road, if something doesn't change, we will be in a socialistic system... like the former USSR. I like boating because it feels like one of the last untamed frontiers. Far away from the daily white knuckles commute and every day rat race. "Safe and secure" are in reality an antonym of freedom. Everyone wants "safe and secure", so... look out freedom... cause that is the price. I'll take the wild, wild west any day over what I am seeing develop.
