Jay Nichols Stop by the website and help
 

I have never met Jay, but I can relate to being self employed and hurt where you cant continue to work. I am going to encourage everyone here to stop by his website and purchase that print you have been looking at, it may be the one of your boat .He has given us all wonderful pics of events we couldn't attend, so it is time to give back. Yes, it may take a while to get it, but it is for the greater good.

That is an excellent idea and very thoughtful of you. I hope people will do just that. As a result of this accident Jay will be faced with expenses that he can never come close to paying let alone his cost of living. His prices are very reasonable and he puts out an excellent product.

I bought some artwork last year from Jay and will definitely buy some more!

Just curious though, does he have someone running his website and fulfilling orders? I would hate to add any additional stress to his life with a bunch of orders in his inbox and no way for him to process them!

i have been trying to get some pics from him since Desert Storm to give to the Marines that rode on the boat with me.
He has told me a couple times that soon as he gets back in town he will show me the prints but haven't got a thing yet, he is a busy boy

While the Flickr site is not set up for ordering, you can order any of the pictures you see on Jay's Flickr page by e mailing him and telling him which picture you like. His e mail address is [email protected] His website is set up to take orders but there are more pics to view on Flickr than the website. Website address is : http://naplesimage.wordpress.com

Also is you need Jay's cell number to discuss a purchase just PM me and I will provide it. He needs a bit more recover time first tho.

Let me clarify a few things about ordering-
first, do not order thru flickr please- I get zip on that.

A photo of, or a link to the image is a big help, and all shots are available.

Just hit me with pm or email if any questions.

The online ordering system (Zenfolio) needs updating but otherwise is fine for ordering anything there you see.

ETA: last thing I want is to come across as crass with this.
But... I want you to buy an image because you are moved to buy it.
It's an extremely thoughtful gesture, and of course every bit helps-
but now that I'm home, I can run the printer and that's kind of a big deal- not unlike having a boat/not having a boat.
The movement is good exercise and so...
maybe I can get through the waiting line of friends that stretches all the way back to Desert Storm.

Apologies Randy, been swamped with well-wishes, orders, questions etc and my attention span is not all that great on a good day.

Main info I need is the event/year. Seems like that was Key West, but maybe St Pete.
I save everything and can find anything, I never throw away any shots that are in focus.
